Yesterday was the birthday of my dear friend :iconirukachan:. So I' drawn her a present. At first time I didn't really wanted to watch the show but I remember that moment the last time I was in Munich when she bought me the first season on DVD and said "Watch this!". :D So I had to. But over time, SPN became one of my favorite series. I love the atmosphere, the dialogues, the demons with all the human habits and Dean Winchester of course. The 5th season was amazing and had an epic finale. I think I've started to draw this picture then.

About the picture. It was painted in Photoshop CS5 with an Intuos 3 tablet. I took the textures from CG-textures and the scratch-texture from here. I've started it a a while ago and had to overpaint it over 9000 times. Cars are a pain in the ass. And realistic men with that kind of perspective.. oh jeez. Dean and Sam don't look similar to their original prototypes, but whatever. I like how Sam turned out. :D You can visit my sketchblog, if you'd like to see the step-by-step - [link]

This is really stunning. The Impala is really the first thing that caught my eye. It is perfect! Love the color and the posture of the character. seems alive and not awkward at all. They are so cool! All and all I'll definitely say this is a genius artwork! Well done XD
